Andrew Surwilo is credited with creating innumerable fee based continuity programs which were all huge commercial successes.

I was wondering if you could provide any assistance. I am looking for my great grandmother. Her name was Katharina van Iddekinge. She was born in 1872 and immigrated to America in 1890 and married Henry Bruns in 1891 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. I have not been able to find any record of her immigration, naturalization or specifically where she was born. The US Census report shows her saying she was from Germany, not the Netherlands, as does her marriage license. I have looked for other van Iddekinges living in the Chicago area during that time in hopes that maybe they were family and found none. It seems odd a young girl of only 18 would emigrate on her own and if she were indentured how would she marry after only being here a year. I just don't know where to start and I only speak English. Is there any help or direction that you could provide. Anything would be helpful, Thank you so very much, Felicia
